It is good if people know it or if does not know ... must concentrate.By chance it is a pious day of Ekadashi today when I am going to write this b'ful story full of devotion and love .This is one of those chapters from the Bhagwada Mahapuran that my papa always used to say me to read and always applauded my way of reading ... :)
Its just summary here ...
King Ambareesh was a great devotee of lodr Vishnu .He used to keep fast on the pious day of Ekadashi for the happiness of Lord Vishnu .Once he arranged a ceremony to make an end of his fast .There he invited so many sages.Among those invited people were the most famous Durvasha Rishi .He said that King please wait for us untill we get a bath from the river .He went with his deciples and the appropriate time for ending the fast was passing by as they were delaying come back . All other sages said to Ambareesh to give an end to the fast just by drinking water so that he may not violate the laws os ending the fast and not even could hurt and make an abuse of Durvasha rishi .But as the rishi reached there he saw that all the functions progressing without his presence .He got angry enough to produce a she-demon "Kritya" who started stepping towards Ambareesh to destroy him .Just at this the Sudarshan Chakra of Lord Vishnu reached there as it has been alloted to save the King by the lord .It first killed Kritya and after that it followed Sage Durvasha .Now he ran to all the three lokas and then to Brahmaji and Shivji who refused to save him from that Sudarshan Chakra saying that it can only be controlled by Lord Vishnu .Then finally Durvasha ji reached Vishnu ji
Then the lord said "Durvasha ji , My devotees are my heart and I am my devotees heart .They dont know anything except me and I dont know anything except them .Those who have left everything of theirs for me , how can I ever think of leaving them .The humble devotees never do wrong with others and if somebody tries to do wrong for them how they can be rescued .Even I am not able to redempt you from this .Guilt against whom is done only he can save you .So please go to Ambareesh He will save you .Durvasha ji went to Ambareesh asking for deliverance from the guilt and said you are great o King,please forgive me .Then the King requested the Sudarshan chakra to leave chasing Durvasha ji .And then he fell in the Brahmins feet to say O great sage please dont ask for forgiveness from me as it will blur the glory of my ancestors beacuse Brahmins have always been respectful to us .

Meaning-
This is a b'ful bhajan expressing the grief of Gajaraj who has been cpatured in the water by the alligator .The gajraj went there to offer prayer to God and at that time this all happened .It is said that he prayed to the lord so intensley by his heart that Lord Vishnu instantly reached there and saved the elephant by beheading the alligator by his "Sudarshan" Chakra .
At that time whatever he narrated all those words are the important part of "Srimad Bhagwat Mahapurana " and this whole instance is collected together as "Gajendra Moksha".
Oh Govind Oh Gopal ,keep me in your shelter as I am loosing my life .
I went to drink the water at the bank of river .In the river there lies an alligator who has grabbed my legs and thus he is drawing me in the water .
Whole day we had a conflict but he taken me to the edge , now my nose and ears are drowned and are calling only Krishna .
Sur das ji says that the elephant says Oh Shyam please listen to me I am only in your shelter .Oh dearest of Nand ji this time you take me accross this jolt .
Meaning-
